An Intimate Vineyard Wedding Under the Stars
September 21, 2020
Bride Adrian instantly had chemistry with her now-husband, Cam - but it was a romance that took some time to grow.
"It wasn’t long until we became inseparable as friends. We both watched each other date other people, but our mutual friends were the first to point out that the two of us should actually date. About a year after meeting each other, the stars seemed to finally align, and we were both single at the same time. Our dating life took off!"
From there, their whirlwind love story progressed but not without a few bumps in the road. Adrian got accepted into a physical therapy PhD program in Las Vegas which was both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, she'd be participating in her dream program, on the other, she'd be leaving Cam behind.
"I had a strange peace about it though because I just knew we would end up together."

It was a bittersweet departure, but as they were on their way to moving her to Las Vegas, they decided to stop in Boise to visit one of her best friends. After continuously insisting that they go on a hike, Adrian and her best friend climbed all the way to the top of a mountain where Cam was waiting on one knee.
But for Adrian and Cam, tying the knot didn't come without some major difficulties. The COVID-19 pandemic practically crashed their original wedding day plans.

They persevered throughout all of the cancellations and rescheduling though because getting married to each other was top priority. She found her perfect wedding dress - one of our simple, open back styles that captured an effortless elegance through its figure-flattering silhouette.
The wedding venue was one that was close to home - Cam's parents intimate vineyard located on a romantic hilltop overlooking Long Lake in Washington. It was a setting that they felt was the perfect backdrop to their love story, and since there was limited cell phone service, everyone was able to keep the focus on celebrating throughout the night. |

For their first dance, they played "Angel" by Jack Johnson - a beautiful acoustic tune that the couple felt was their song just after the first listen.
"The chorus of the song is, your presence is a present alone. Being long distance throughout our whole engagement, we craved nothing more than to just be together. Not only did we love the lyrics to the song, but it fit our wedding theme perfectly."
Throughout all of the ups and downs of COVID-19 and a long distant relationship, Adrian and Cam were able to create their dream wedding day despite all of the adversities that came their way. If there's one thing they want you to know about planning a wedding during COVID-19, it's this:
"Don’t let COVID-19 take away from your day! It may be different than what you imagined but different doesn’t mean worse."
Congrats to the happy couple!
